Rina Chandran joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s editorial team in India in January 2016. She reports on land and property rights, climate change, gender justice and other humanitarian issues. Prior to that, Rina was a business journalist for more than a dozen years in India, New York and Singapore, with Reuters News, the Financial Times and Bloomberg. Rina has an MFA in Writing from the Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University. She moved to Bangkok this year.
